Usually yes. Drop-off costs less, and the shipping options page shows how much less before you pay.
For drop-off, take the labeled bag to a UPS location. See Where can I drop off my bag?
Pickup is door-to-door if you would rather not drive to a carrier. The carrier collects the bag at the pickup address on your label.
